Halloween horror: Pepsi Max Monster Mirror

For Halloween and its “Unbelievable” YouTube channel, Pepsi Max came up with the crazy idea of transforming the reflections of moviegoers.

Imagine going to the cinema during Halloween to catch a scary movie and then to have your own mini scarefest in the toilets. The mirrors in the toilets of a movie theatre in London were fitted with facial tracking technology and augmented reality software that transformed the visitors’ reflections into scary Halloween characters – such as creepy clowns and werewolves. Equipped with hidden cameras, we were treated to the hilarious reactions from the ‘victims’.

This was a completely creative and fun idea and as Aman Matharu, Digital Marketing Manager of the brand said: “Since launching the Unbelievable YouTube channel in January, Pepsi Max has regularly created and published shareable content that utilizes the latest technology and innovation to showcase unbelievable feats and experiences.”

We totally agree. Also Halloween wouldn’t be fun without a little prank or two.
