We’ve got you covered on the hottest happenings this weekend.

If you especially love immersing yourself in a little culture, you’re going to be pretty thrilled for what this weekend has in store for you, because it looks like it’s set out to be a particularly music- and art-filled one. For the ardent music buffs among you, St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival is back for its seventh edition this year! Expect a great eclectic lineup that promises fresh sounds and even more acts from both Asia and Singapore! Didn’t manage to get tickets for Laneway but still want to inject a little music into your weekend? Then head down to Music for a Cause 2017 at SMU; admission is completely free and you’ll get to enjoy great live music from local artistes and also learn how you can get involved with the festival’s featured social causes.

Art lovers, rejoice: we’re still in the midst of Singapore Art Week, which means you’ll still be able to get your art dose this weekend! Head down to Singapore Art Week(end) at SAM; there’s a whole array of exciting activities lined up like exhibitions, a picnic and even a street party! Or if you want a taste of foreign cinema, the Singapore Palestinian International Film Festival is for you. For a more upbeat weekend, head down to the Sofitel SO pool party! For more exciting events, head up to the gallery above.
