The Singapore-based label debuts its ‘Fairy Lights’ collection amidst a celebratory mood.

When it comes to one of Singapore’s most successful labels, Hansel, one thing is guaranteed: a lot of fun!

The brand which has been hitting the nail on the head when it comes to marrying the quirky with the wearable, has done it again this season with a few surprises nevertheless.

As expected, the show – which was presented on the 2nd day of Audi Fashion Festival  – as well as the collection had a fun, whimsical and easy vibe about it.

Entitled ‘Fairy Lights’ and inspired by the festivities and celebrations where they’re used – Hansel’s FW14 collection had something for everyone. From printed jersey dresses to classic separates, maxi frocks and knits – designer Jo Soh has managed to cleverly integrate the String Lights and Coiled Lights print into many of the pieces and in various forms and colours – even monochrome.

We especially loved the bright colours used in some of the pieces on white background – some even embellished with crystals – which was a sweet surprise for those of us who like some ‘bling’ but with a twist.

Hansel, which celebrates it 10 year anniversary this year has done itself proud with its latest collection by being true to its ethos, considerate to its customer needs but above all original and keen on brining fun back to fashion.
