Our awards go to…
The award for the deepest neckline:
Goes to…Frédérique Bel. The french actress revealed a plunging neckline just hidden by a piece of chiffon in a Leonard gown.
The award for the most voluminous dress:
Goes to… Sonam Kapoor. On May 18, The beautiful Indian actress rocked a voluminous gown by Elie Saab Haute Couture which reminded us of the beautiful Scarlett O’Hara from Gone with the Wind.
The award for the most committed:
Goes to…Salma Hayek. Stunning in a Saint Laurent gown, the actress holds up a #BringOurGirlsBack sign which certainly attracted all eyes.
The award for the most beautiful bottom:
Goes to…Eva Longoria. She may only be a petite celebrity, but that does not stop her from having dreamy proportions! Moulded into a sheath dress by Gabriela Cadena, Eva ignited the red carpet.
The award for the D.I.Y (do it yourself) dress:
Goes to…Karlie Kloss. We’re not sure if the lace burgundy dress was the right choice for the lovely Karlie, it makes us think she stealing curtains from her mothers house. Valentino, did not take the beautiful model’s measurements very well either!
The award for the most embarrassing dress malfunction:
Goes to…Nabilla. Walking down the red carpet in a black Jean-Paul Gaultier gown – she experienced a major wardrobe malfunction when the transparent material revealed everything!
The award for the most over-the-top look:
Goes to…Elena Lenina. Her fuchsia dress is stunning on its own- did she need to add the bulky XXL necklace?
The award for the most promising female:
Goes to…Joséphine Japy. The 19 year old actress replicates a modern princess perfectly in a blue lace gown. A simple bun and ultra-cool makeup: we give her a 10/10!
The award for the most promising male:
Goes to…Xavier Dolan. “Everything is possible for those who dream, dare, work and never give up”- The young Canadian actor looks great in a Brocade suit embroidered with dainty flowers – the 25 years old talented director already hits the spot.
The award for the most glamourous look:
Goes to…Léa Seydoux. Typically we know the stunning actress as a blonde, but she has switched up at the Cannes film festival rocking a deep mahogany hair colour – she appears mysterious and mesmerising in a long, satin green gown by Prada.
The award for the cheapest dress:
Goes to… Barbara Probst. While her sisters requested designer gowns, the young actress shows up in a Delphine Collin La Redoute dress that costs approx. USD245 – which was definitely a success.
The award for the sexiest overall look:
Goes to…Inès de la Fressange. She previously gave us a scare in a Chanel outfit, a little too over-thought for our taste; but very high fashion. Ines definitely knows how to make a splash! In a flamboyant red satin dress by Sophie Theallet: The French actress made a great comeback. Roll on next year!
