Queen B’s new deal with UK’s leading high street brand, Topshop is as exciting as it sounds but while we wait, take a look at our 5 favourite Topshop collaborations from the past.

If you’ve been skiving off your gym sessions, it’s time to renew that membership while you wait for Beyonce’s upcoming active wear line that comes in partnership with retail giant, Topshop.

It’s not just any simple celebrity collaboration though, the London-based high street brand and Queen B have entered into a 50-50 joint venture company, Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., which will essentially feature clothing, accessories and footwear that ranges across dance, fitness and sports. Beyonce will involved “in all aspects of the partnership,” to “create and produce a technical and fashion-led collection”.

For now, all we have dirt on is that the potential launch date is slated for next Fall. Beyond that, reportedly, Topshop owner, Sir Philip Green and Beyonce are currently working to decide on a name as well as confirm new hires, including designers and creative directors. Sounds like there’s definitely a whole lot to settle on before the deal comes to fruition.

So while we anticipate the eventual release of the first collection, let’s take a look back at some of the more successful Topshop collaborations with celebrities and designers – from the definitive Kate Moss to Cara Delevingne, Meadham Kirchhoff and Mary Katrantzou.

Other than that, you could also put on some Beyonce tunes to get you into the groove for a dance-a-thon in your room – it’ll be good prep work for when you eventually run to the stores to get your hands on the collection.
