The South East Asia’s leading e-tailer has come a long way since it sprung up online which means it’s time to turn up the festivities with a shopping spree!

We’re no strangers to online shopping – even the reception at our office building knows that, based on the number of packages delivered on a daily basis – and that includes having a little tab with Zalora open. It’s almost like a daily routine to check what’s new on the online site and bag items before checking out at the end of the week. Or even call it an occupational hazard that we don’t particularly mind.

If our addiction is anything to go by then it should come as no surprise that within three years, the e-tailer has evolved into a regional force to be reckoned with. From bolstering their logistics and operational stem to establishing partnerships with bigger popular brands such as Aldo, River Island, Mango and Sephora, and leading the online retail space with impressive efficiency in service, there’s no stopping this giant.

A bevy of initiatives were undertaken to propel Zalora to the forefront and cement its position there. Catering to ‘thumb shoppers’, the launch of their mobile app has already seen downloads of close to 5 million. In 2014 alone, the online site garnered 200 million visits with 38% of them coming from mobile phones.

On the other hand, for those who prefer the physical joy of shopping, a pop up store to allow customers a feel of the goods took place earlier this year, hence reaching out to every and any kind of shopper. These efforts only serve to prove that Zalora is committed to give consumers a wholesome experience that’s convenient and entirely accessible.

With a store that offers a complete selection ranging from affordable to mid range prices, beauty products and same day shipping, there really isn’t much left to improve on – other than expanding the host of brands of course. So as Zalora celebrates its 3rd anniversary as an online powerhouse, we’re going to spend a little more time scouring the site for our favourite picks. Psssst. If you’re not sure where to start, type in ‘Something Borrowed’ and you’ll definitely find something to add to bag. Trust us.

Now get clicking or if you’d prefer to touch and feel the pieces, head down to the e-tailer’s second pop up store at Bugis+, 201 Victoria Street, #02-02-05 till 29 July 2015!
