Everlane Now: The one-hour delivery service for clothes

updated the Monday, November 3, 2014

Instead of waiting several days for your online shopping goodies to arrive, here’s a much quicker alternative to enjoy.

Everlane

Our patience is increasingly wearing thin as we increasingly opt for more fast delivery services – from food to groceries. How would it sound if we could now receive a speedy delivery of clothes? Genius. Everlane, a San Francisco-based online clothing company said “If you can get a ramen bowl, a ride to the Giants game, and a dogwalker at your door within the hour – why not clothes?”

So it should come as no surprise to learn that the clothing brand has teamed up with Postmates, an on-demand delivery platform, to launch Everlane Now a one hour clothing delivery service in San Francisco.

In other words, you can browse the range of apparel on your phone or computer and approximately 1 hour later be wearing them. No longer is there a need to wait for up to 3 days to get the stuff you ordered.

The company’s service is still in the testing stage, so for the time being, just some articles such as t-shirts, reverse denim bags, trench coats, bomber jackets and wool collections can be shipped on weekdays without an additional fee. And currently not more than 2 articles are allowed for the service.

There is no word yet on whether or not this brilliant idea will be available in other cities but if we hear anything we will definitely keep you in the loop.
