While it won’t get properly ‘cold’ any time soon in Singapore, we’re always excited when the Fall collection hits the stores on our shores. Let’s face it, what’s cooler than layering some outerwear even just to make a fashion statement? But that’s not all, as lightweight jackets prove to be a ‘must-have’ since the rain indoor air conditioning are things we live with all year round.
From the runways of Dior, Lanvin and Calvin Klein, this season it is all about slouchy, boyfriend-inspired jackets and coats, . To be super on-trend, opt for an XL bomber jacket, or sneak into your boyfriends wardrobe and borrow a blazer. If you are feeling little daring, mix and match bold prints and vibrant colours. Cosy folk-inspired ponchos and capes are also key garments for fall. As seen on the runways of Burberry and Etro, opt for a poncho that comes in earthy tones – greens, browns and greys will do just the trick if you happen to be going anywhere with a proper winter season.
