Heads Up, Yogis: PRADA has just rolled out a new yoga mat
Yes, Prada’s just rolled out a hot new product: a yoga mat!
Prada is known for a lot of things: oh-so-coveted handbags, shoes, perfumes, and high fashion pieces of clothing. Whether it was a gift from your parents, S/O, or just something you splurged on with your very first pay, the first Prada item a woman owns feels sacred and special. However, athleisure and the world of women’s fitness wear is something the luxury design house has yet to truly venture to – until now.
We might have spoken too soon though because Prada has recently released a new line of yoga mats! Starting from USD460 a pop, the mats are available in three hibiscus hues (cherry red, army green, and bright blue) as well as an iconic banana print from their Spring 2011 collection. They’re also made in Italy, roll out to a standard size of 180cm by 61cm, and are waterproof.
For now, only time will tell if this yoga mat will make your down dog or your child’s pose any better. But one thing’s for sure: it’ll certainly spark the envy of all your yogi pals. If anything, forking out the dollars for a designer yoga mat is definitely incentive to clock in more hours at the yoga studio.
