From local to global—we’re expecting only the best.

Heartiest congratulations to the three – Danelle Woo of Aijek, Elyn Wong of Stolen and Max Tan ofmax.tan – for being selected to grow from local to global.

We trust that the trio certainly have what it takes to represent us in retail pop ups and Singapore Fashion Week (SFW). After all, the designers do possess at least 5 years of industry experience, have designed and launched at least 6 collections for export and demonstrated their potential through both local and international editorial coverage. Promising enough, yes?

The three were hand-picked by members of a selection committee from the fashion industry including Chairman of SFW, Tjin Lee and founder and creative director of Manifesto, Walid Zaazaa.

In a nutshell, by aiming to bring local fashion designers into the global market, Fashion Futures 2.0 offers designers with a professional support network to help them grow. They also get the exclusive opportunity to not only showcase their talents, but receive feedback from fashion veterans during SFW and learn a holistic experience through Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Induction Programme over the next 9 months.

We would like to wish the three all the best, and we’re definitely all for #supportinglocal!
