Katy Perry previews her Christmas song in new H&M commercial
Filled with dancing snowflakes and Christmas trees, the much anticipated ad campaign featuring Katy Perry is finally here.
As soon as we heard that Katy Perry will be the star of H&M’s Holiday campaign this year, we just knew to expect lots of sparkle, pomp and celebration. And we weren’t wrong to.
The Swedish retailer just unveiled their latest commercial and the entire visual feast consists of tin soldiers, dancing Christmas trees and snowflakes as well as bears, gift boxes and oversized ornaments. Katy Perry herself appears as a wide-eyed fairy flittering about, a tin soldier and as herself dressed in Christmas-y garb. So to say it is sparkly may just be an understatement.
Besides the fanfare, perhaps what caught our eye (or ear) immediately was Katy Perry belting out a preview of her new Holiday track, ‘Every Day Is a Holiday’. The festive song definitely sounded like something that would stick to our minds in the weeks to come, especially when the lines also include, ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’.
