Called the ‘Warmly Moncler for UNICEF’ project, children will receive clothing and winter kits to protect themselves against cold weather conditions.

French-Italian luxury sportswear label Moncler has just announced a charity partnership with UNICEF to support children in need of help and assistance.

Called the “WARMLY MONCLER FOR UNICEF”, the partnership aims to provide warm clothing and dedicated winter kits to children around the world to protect themselves against harsh, cold weather.

A Pressing Global Need

Globally, millions of children around the world live in situations of extreme emergency, without adequate and appropriate clothing, health care and a safe place to stay. This is especially so during winter, where without access to heated shelters and even blankets, many children and their families struggle daily for survival.

THE “WARMLY MONCLER FOR UNICEF” PROJECT

The ‘WARMLY MONCLER FOR UNICEF’ project will guarantee winter kits for many children and their families. These include items such as thermal blankets, hats, gloves, scarves, shoes and socks; fuel to heat homes, schools’ classrooms and spaces where children can play; and life-saving aids such as food, clean water and medicines.

This partnership is an addition to UNICEF’s active ongoing efforts around the world to protect children in emergency situations and harsh weather climates. For a peek into UNICEF’s initiatives globally in afflicted countries like Nepal and South Korea, browse the gallery above.
