Long-time UNIQLO fans, rejoice! There’s much to love about the new flagship outlet at Orchard Central.

Yes, that’s right. Singapore is now home to Southeast Asia’s first ever UNIQLO Global Flagship Store, and it spans a whopping three floors and 2700 square metres in Orchard Central. A massive crowd of over 2000 customers turned up to the much-anticipated grand opening last week and definitely had a ball of a time exploring the expanded range of products previously unseen in other outlets around the island.

The widest selection of UNIQLO LifeWear products

The event saw Chairman, President and CEO of Fast Retailing Mr. Tadashi Yanai speaking proudly about this new grand achievement. “Our first Global Flagship Store in Southeast Asia demonstrates our commitment to bringing customers from Singapore and throughout the region our widest range of products under the LifeWear concept,” Mr. Yanai mentioned. “We also want to make sure that UNIQLO Orchard Central is a ‘good neighbour’ by offering a place where we can connect with the local community to share in their work and creativity.”

UNIQLO has had a long-standing in Singapore as a clothing and lifestyle brand that embraces simplicity and quality, as well as accessibility and affordability. As one of Japan’s leading specialty retailers, it is not surprising that their huge success is so inherent amongst the Singaporean crowd. We’re sure that the birth of this new flagship store will continue to bring in new fans of the brand and, of course, please old fans too.
