Chanel shows us New York and Seoul through the eyes of Soo Joo Park
The Korean model strides through the big cities decked out head-to-toe in this season’s cruise collection.
The brightly-coloured Chanel Cruise collection held our hearts as we watched them come down the runway in Seoul last May. Then the new campaign dropped and we fell head over heels all over again.
Starring Korean-born Soo Joo Park, the campaign comprises of a two-part short film. Dressed in the Chanel Cruise collection, Park roams the city of Seoul in the first video while wandering the streets of New York City in the second.
A child of two worlds, Park was born in Korea but moved to the United States when she was ten.
“I arrived in New York with an open mind, ready to take everything in,” says Park in the video, “New York has always inspired me, but I haven’t forgotten my birthplace.”
