The Brazilian jelly shoe brand launches its Fall/Winter 2014 Collection featuring collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, J. Maskrey and Jason Wu among others.
Every season, Our favourite jelly shoe label Melissa reveals new hot collaborations and irresistible styles and this summer is no different. The Melissa Nation Fall/Winter 2014 Collection was recently unveiled in Singapore and as usual it didn’t disappoint. Featuring collaborations with fashion icons such as Karl Lagerfeld, Jason Wu, J. Maskrey, Gareth Pugh and the Campana Brothers – the latest collection takes its inspiration from ethnic diversity and multiculturalism and ensures there is a jelly shoe for every taste.
This season’s shoes are categorized in three looks:
Traveller: For those who love to travel and discover new cultures, these pieces are nothing but fun, versatile and most of all comfortable.
Guide: Ideal for the ultimate cosmopolitan woman, the shoes are designed with urban references and chic 90’s touches.
Local: Focusing on avant-garde styles, these shoes are perfect for the women who prefer a modern, functional and sophisticated look.
The key styles of this season consist of the Melissa Black Tie + Karl Lagerfeld and the classic Melissa Ultragirl which has been updated with a pair of Lagerfeld’s famous sunglasses. Along with these designs, other pieces include the Melissa Bliss, a flat sandal featuring heart-shaped detailing, Melissa Magda + Jason Wu, a 70’s inspired sandal and the Melissa Boho, a geometric-looking heel full of special detailing.
The founder and designer of skin jewellery and crystal-embellished fashion, J. Maskrey also played a part in the Fall/Winter 2014 collection – creating clear jelly shoes featuring stunning Swarovski crystals.
Not to mention that young Melissa fans can also get some jelly shoes of their own, with super-cute kids’ booties and sandals embellished with phone emoji’s including the heart and the smiley face symbols. We love!
The Melissa Nation Fall/Winter 2014 Collection will be available from July 2014 onwards at all Melissa stores.
