Creative directors of Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have already shown how much they could be original when it comes to promotion and advertising. Recently they have collaborated with the film director Partel Oliva and web designers Kim Boutin and David Broner to immerse consumers in a truly imaginative digital experience.

It is all is about an interactive online exhibition called “Grace to the Nth Power“, that unveils the brand’s Fall 2014 collection in an enigmatic scenario.

The plot which is acted out by the models Grace Bol and Sang Woo Kim is an interesting one: There is an exhibition, but the model Grace Bol has stolen all the artworks from the museum and replaced them with films showing her and her partner in crime (Sang Woo Kim) in action.

So, through screens left in place of the stolen artworks, consumers can watch the films where the thieves are sporting the latest Kenzo Fall 2014 collection. Plus, they can scrutinize the new line on their computer as well as on their mobile. Such a good way to showcase a collection indeed, but that’s not all. To get out of the exhibition room, you have to go through the “brand’s gift shop” where, why not, you could purchase a souvenir from a selection of accessories or ready-to-wear items.

and if you happen to be in Paris between September 24 to 26, there will be a physical exhibition at the Galerie 12Mail in Paris, displaying the videos and artwork.

We’re definitely loving how Kenzo is leading the innovation when it comes to ‘fashion-tech’ and can’t wait to see what’s next!
