Margaret Zhang models for Au Revoir Les Filles ‘Dawn’ collection

Adding to her long list of job titles, Margaret Zhang is now a model as she stars in the latest campaign for the Australian jewellery label.
These days, if you’re not a multi-hyphenated individual with a resume long enough to list all of your different titles, it may seem a little strange. At least that would be the case for Margaret Zhang, the 22 year-old Lawyer-in-training, photographer, stylist, writer, ambassador and well, now model.
Lending her face to the jewellery label, Au Revoir Les Filles, Margaret brilliantly evokes her distinctive brand of edgy femininity that’s rounded off with a dose of sultry. Set in dark, moody tones of deep blue and black, the campaign images serves to garner just the right amount of curiosity that’ll beckon you to discover what else lies deeper. Especially since Margaret never has her eyes open, it further echoes the dream-like inspiration for the shots and creates a far more enthralling aura.
Created by Singapore-born designer, Teresa Tiong, the ‘Dawn’ collection is one that’s inspired by the mystery that reigns within the depths of the ocean. Comprising of a mixture of ornate and minimalistic pieces, think armour cuffs, dainty necklaces and bracelets, ear bars and rings with unrefined stones, the collection is evidently one that reflects the very dual nature of a strong yet fragile underwater universe.
So if there’s one person who fits the very description of the range, it would have to be Margaret Zhang who comes with a strong sense of curiosity for learning and embodies a resolute yet calm persona. She’s one firm, intriguing and enviable force alright.
