The Spirit of Travel: Michelle Williams goes on a road trip with Louis Vuitton

Since July 2013, actress Michelle Williams has been the face of Louis Vuitton campaigns. This time she stars in the fashion house’s artsy short film The Spirit of Travel.
In the film, Williams makes her way across barren landscapes in a vintage vehicle searching for something to satiate her wanderlust. The Academy Award nominee brings her signature understated glamour and allure to the film as she does to the fashion house’s campaign images.
“I have no destination,” Williams muses as she gazes out over the barren desert in melancholic fashion, “I have a destiny.”
Alicia Vikander appears opposite Williams in the film as her kindred spirit, also searching for a hidden oasis. The Swedish actress takes on the wilderness on foot to take in all the wonder the desert has to offer.
However, they aren’t tackling the wild terrain a-la-Cheryl Strayed. The pair of desert flowers is decked out in the brand’s elegant garments as they navigate the dessert roads, with luxury handbags in tow.
The wild, desolate desert has never looked so chic.
