Inspired by wanderlust, the collection is a fun and playful take on the classic Monogram icons.

On his many travels, Gaston-Louis Vuitton used to collect hotel and airline stickers, and always took a fascination to the labels on luggages and trunks he saw, as he felt it was telling of the owner and the adventures they had been on. It was this spirit of wanderlust that was the main inspiration behind the new Louis Vuitton Monogram World Tour Collection.

Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere has transposed this tradition of travel stickers on the classic Louis Vuitton Monogram icons, from its classic city bag Speedy to the LV55 watch and the Pégase suitcase. The stickers feature dynamic cosmopolitan cities like Tokyo, Paris and Milan, or paintings from the Hyper Realistic Movement. This collection is a fun, playful take on the classic Monogram series and a great way to pay homage to the design house’s long-standing association with travel. Head up to our gallery to check out the new collection up close!
