Leading modern art collection, X+Q and famed British fashion house, Paul Smith come together to host a stunning art exhibition in Singapore.

Recently, the iconic British label, Paul Smith has been playing host to an art exhibition in stores around the world. What has been on display is a series of works by Chinese art collection, X+Q Art – helmed by contemporary artistsXiang Jing and Qu Guangci.

After having shown in galleries from London to Shanghai and in Paul Smith boutiques in Paris and Melbourne, the exhibition finally reaches Singapore. The showcase features a lineup of vivid fibreglass sculptures that accurately go in line with Paul Smith’s sense of humour and creativity characteristic in his designs.

Each artist created different sculptures such as Xiang Jing’s ‘I Have Seen Happiness’ sculpture aims to evoke optimism and youthfulness with the vibrant rabbit sculptures decked in rich shades of red, blue, yellow and green. The series is particularly appropriate given Paul Smith’s personal adoration for rabbits.

Qu Guanci on the other hand created a beautiful medley between Eastern and Western sentiments that resulted in sculptures of winged oriental angles in similarly saturated pops of colour.

To put it in few words, the upcoming showcase is set to be an arresting visual feast so make sure not to miss it!
