Finding the perfect skirt can prove to be a real headache. As seen on all the runways, midi skirts are a huge trend this winter. But with the Singapore heat, pairing it with an ultra-thick sweater isn’t exactly an option. So we’ve come up with some ways to rock the trend without boiling under the sweltering heat.
Crop top:
Seen on all the celebrities and models, both on and off the catwalk, the crop top made a huge statement this year. From girly to grungy styles, ditch wool this season and pair your crop top with a skirt that suits your taste.
Sheer blouse:
Chic, versatile and most of all, lightweight. The sheer blouse is a great way to dress up and add a touch of femininity to any outfit. Opt for a pair of flats for everyday wear. If you’re dressing for the evening, pair your skirt with some pointed-toe pumps, a statement necklace and a bold bag.
Blazer/cardigan:
We all know that Singapore cinemas can feel like the arctic cold (don’t ask us why). So if you feel as though you need to cover up, opt for a lightweight blazer or cardigan to conceal the shoulder area.
