Forget shift dresses or the LBD, the must have fashion item of spring-summer 2015 is the humble jumpsuit.

The fashion world is in a collective swoon over jumpsuits.  Fashion icons Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow have been spotted in one. The runways of London, Paris and New York have featured their versions of the outfit heavily. It has achieved an entire outfit category of it’s own on Net-a-Porter. It’s official: jumpsuits are here to stay. Once relegated as a wardrobe staple of mechanics, hicks and tots at the playground, the jumpsuit has suited up and gone big on.

Keep it short, or wear it flared, we love how the jumpsuit can take us from smart casual to evening chic, depending on the cut and fabric. Glam it up with accessories or choose to go au natural, the jumpsuit is a statement piece in itself. Designers from Tom Ford to Victoria Beckham have put their own spin on evening wear jumpsuits with tuxedo details, bare backs, bows and deep necks. Much like the onesie, we love how easy it is to slip into a jumpsuit and the comfort factor is a plus too. It doesn’t matter if you’re skinny or curvy, the jumpsuit is literally a one size flatters all outfit. The jumpsuit has now replaced the Little Black Dress as the new can’t go wrong fashion piece.

We’re all aboard on this jumpsuit bandwagon and to round it up, we’ve picked the best looks from the runway.
