New York and London Fashion Week: 40 Best streetstyle looks
updated the 6 October 2015 à 22:28As LFW wraps up and Milan Fashion Week begins to open their doors, we round up the top streetstyle looks that caught our eyes over the past weeks.
It may feel like we were just talking about fashion month beginning but lo and behold, we’re already at the halfway mark as London Fashion Week ends and Milan welcomes us with open arms. Now besides the fashion brought forward on the runways we’re always looking forward to seeing what the top editors, bloggers and fashion enthusiasts are wearing outside the shows.
The style stakes are higher than ever in this new season, as we see a mix of transitional season dressing at New York – where some are still in spaghetti-strapped tops and hot shorts – and warmer layers in London. Whether it’s style lessons to note from the designers themselves or the ultimate effortless details sported by the street’s elites, we’re always learning new things at every fashion week.
We discover new layering techniques by unbuttoning cuffs of oversized shirts under fitted jackets and knee-high boots under slit maxi skirts. Monochrome was also another recurring theme, seen on coordinating suits and full one-colour outfits whether it’s in jackets over maxi dresses or three-piece ensembles in a solid colour palette. All in all, chic was never a factor that was missing and gives us inspiration for our end-of-year wardrobes to come. Whichever style lessons you choose to adopt, it’s up to you.
So stay up to date on the latest streetstyle in our gallery above.
