Yes, you read that right – Durian Fiesta 2018 is officially back.

Durian season might not officially kick off for another two months until June – but if you need your durian fix, here’s some good news. Goodwood Park Hotel’s annual Durian Fiesta 2018 is back (and yes – for its 35th year running!)

From 30 March to 22 July 2018, durian lovers get to indulge in their tantalizing smorgasbord of durian pastries and desserts at The Deli. All the desserts are baked with absolutely exquisite D24 and ‘Mao Shan Wang’ durians – which, everyone knows, are the durians to try.

There are 12 premium confections this year, with four new treats introduced this year. The D24 White Chocolate Raspberry Dome is a biscuit-based tart, topped with a white chocolate dome filled with the creamy and rich D24 durian pulp, and dressed with a ‘garland’ of zesty dried raspberries. The D24 Orange Choc-a-bloc features a chocolate shortcrust base, topped with walnuts and raisins and a rich D24 pulp, with a sweet tangy orange mousse.

And then there’s the D24 Coffee Glaze, which beautifully fuses a layered coffee sponge cake with the D24 pulp, finished with a rich coffee glaze, and the D24 Kataifi, a surprising luxe durian snack.

And if that isn’t enough durian to satiate your soul, there’s an all-durian dessert buffet with D24 durian pastries happening in May. A mousse cake, coffee glazes, puffs, mini egg tarts, pancakes, ice cream and more, all filled with the luscious D24 pulp are just some sweet treats you can expect.

Durian Fiesta 2018 will be happening from 30 March to 22 July 2o18. For more information, check out the Goodwood Park’s Durian Fiesta 2018 website!
