Furniture meets...food? One of the newest spots to open on the Mohamed Sultan strip, House of MU is a furniture showcase-slash-restaurant, decorated with beautiful Burmese teak pieces that can be purchased on the spot! Other than the exquisite interior design, highlights of the comfort food-focused menu include the simple of delicious mushroom soup, josper-grilled juicy meats, aglio olio linguini topped with uni, and truffle cream risotto with chunky crayfish all done a la minute by Michelin-starred chef Tyrell Joon. Invite your friends and family to join you on this decadent dinner as well: the aptly named MU-nster Platter, consisting of beef steak, grilled chicken, roast lamb, pork tenderloin, and herb sausages are simply too good not to share!

Tsui Wah Clarke Quay
Just opened last month, Tsui Wah Clarke Quay is the first Tsui Wah restaurant in Southeast Asia! Highlights of their menu include Hong Kong delicacies such as pork chop buns, braised abalone sauce rice, fish soup, and lamb chop curry. With a new supper menu featuring mala soup and luncheon meat and sunny-side up egg noodles being offered in their newly extended supper time, this is definitely a place to go before and after some drinks!

Maxi Coffee Bar
With its beautiful deep blue decor and irresistible latte art, this cafe is bound to be the next hit with Instagram foodies. Offering traditional brunch and cafe dishes such as waffles, toast, and of course, freshly made coffee, this cafe is the place to go to get a breather before, during, or after work! It also has a sustainable agenda, and guests who bring metal straws and keep cups get 20 percent off their purchase!

Sixteen Ounces
There’s a growing trend of craft beer and local microbreweries, and Sixteen Ounces is a new addition to this scene! Sixteen Ounces is a craft beer bar at The Rail Mall offering six beers on tap and over 20 bottled brews! Sixteen Ounces also offers delicious bar bites like spicy drumlets, prawn rolls, and buttery burgers.

Benjamin Barker Cafe
Menswear boutique Benjamin Barker has opened a new cafe in Cathay Cineleisure Orchard! Offering quintessential cafe bites like burgers, fish and chips, and Southern fried chicken. Unfortunately, their famous B Burgers are no longer on the menu, but you can always hold out hope for another surprise pop up offering like they did in June --check their Instagram and Facebook for newest updates and information!
