A taste of Hong Kong’s best eats – right here in our little red dot.

As the birthplace of egg tarts, Tim Ho Wan and a slew of scrumptious street foods, Hong Kong is no doubt one of the best foodie destinations in Asia.

Which is why we’re ever-so-thankful that some of its best eateries have made a home on our Singaporean shores.

Just this March, we welcomed a new addition: Mui Kee Congee. From its humble origins as a small corner stall in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, the restaurant prides itself on its generations-old recipes and traditional cooking techniques behind its silky smooth Cantonese-style congee.

And it’s not just all dim sums and Chinese food either – Coffee Academics, touted as the “world’s best coffee shop” by The Telegraph in 2016, now has two cafe branches in the city. And then of course, there’s the one-Michelin star Tim Ho Wan – which frankly needs no introduction.
