You're in for a treat at Sear with its PIRA charcoal oven from Europe which grills meat beautifully. Of course, the cuts are stellar at Sear with rich marbling and natural beefy flavour. Indulge in the 21-day Dry Aged Bone-in Australian Angus Strip which is good for two for a feast.

Pince & Pints
Who can forget the snaking queues at this lobster-only restauarant, Pince & Pints? With only three main lobster dishes on the menu, the quality is excellent and the lobsters are at least 600g. The Live Whole Lobster dish can be either steamed or grilled. It is then served with a side of fries, salad and herbed butter sauce.

Wakanui Grill Dining
All the premium cuts of meat are aged in house before being grilled on Binchotan grills with charcoal from Kishu, Japan. Apart from the New Zealand beef, we'd also recommend the Wakanui Spring Lamb Chop which is oh-so-tender and doesn't have a gamey scent.

Salt Grill & Sky Bar
Celebrity chef Luke Mangan's restaurant doesn't disappoint with its intricately grilled seafood and meat. But not to be missed is the smoked quail with almond cream. Grilled to perfection, the quail is juicy and tender.

Bincho at Hua Bee
Hua Bee noodle stall by day and yakitori-ya Bincho by night, this hole-in-the-wall specialises in grilled goodies off the binchotan for delicious charred meats and fish. They serve set lunches and omakase-style dinners. Have a Hitachino beer while waiting for a true Japanese experience.

Burnt Ends
If you love surprises, head to Burnt Ends for their ever changing menu. Chef Dave Pynt will tease the flavours out in all of his dishes in the custom made grills and apple and almond wood ovens. The open concept kitchen can get a little warm with all that heat! But you get to see how your food is cooked, and that's the fun bit.

This Alsatian French restaurant serves traditional tarte flambees right along side juicy rotisserie chickens and a large Tomahawk rib-eye with bearnaise sauce and baby romaine. They also serve seafood a la plancha for those who prefer something lighter.

Known for their cuts of meat and whole lobsters done in various ways, a surprising contender on their menu for best grill dish is the CW Codfish Burger which is slathered in pommery mustard before being grilled and stuffed between pillowy buns.

Smokey’s BBQ
Granted this place is known for its fork-tender ribs drowning in savoury barbecue sauce, but their grilled USDA certified Angus steaks aren't half bad either. Warning: The portions are pretty hearty here, so pace yourself. They have outlets at Sunset Lane and Joo Chiat.
