Singapore has seen quite the cropping of new burger bars of late, but Hans Im Gluck certainly sets itself apart with its gourmet European-style burgers and scrumptious vegan and vegetarian burger options. And boy, you'll be spoiled for choice: its menu, designed to resemble a children's storybook (aptly so since fairy tales did originate from Germany), features 30 burgers. The casual gourmet burger chain from Germany recently opened its first ever outlet in Asia right here in Singapore, a spacious 4000 sq. ft. restaurant along Orchard Road which seats 180.

For exquisite halal prime-cut steaks and killer views

Quality prime-cut steaks are a tough find in itself in Singapore; add in the Halal factor and you'll find that it's near impossible. However, 665 Degrees Fahrenheit might just change all that. Sitting at the top of Andaz Singapore at Level 38, 665°F is the hotel’s premium grillhouse with stunning views of Singapore's skyline.

Named after the temperature of the Pira oven and grill in which sits in the heart of a show kitchen, 665°F is a cosy dining experience specialising in halal-certified prime cuts and sustainable seafood.

Five & 2
For good cafe grub with a social cause

Five & 2, located at Punggol Park, is the Timbre Group's latest culinary venture. The 'five' in the cafe's name refers to the restaurant's policy of feeding a child a meal for every five meals sold, while the 'two' refers to its two social missions to feed the underprivileged and giving meaningful employment to the marginalised.

In fact, the casual bistro employs staff who were either former inmates or the marginalised. It also serves great grub and drinks, like a Whisky Lemak cocktail, Ang-Mo-Politan and Asian-inspired dishes like a Thai Green Beef Cury, Sarawak Curry Chicken and more.

Kumoya, Singapore's first Halal-certified Japanese-French inspired cafe, has introduced its Care Bear Cafe collaboration which we won't doubt your kids will love. This comes hot in the heels of its Cinnamoroll and Miffy-themed transformations last year.

For an indulgent, free-flow wine brunch

Now, PS. Cafe's certainly not new to the dining scene, but it has introduced a free-flow wine brunch (SGD70++/pax) we're pretty excited about. Available exclusively at PS. Cafe Ann Siang Hill, you can expect all your brunch favourites like the Salmon-Dill Potato Cakes and Chargrilled Portobello Burger paired with their well-curated wine collection. The free-flow options include the Villa Sandi’s Valdobbiadene Prosecco to the red, white and rosé wines from the iconic Spanish vineyard Marques de Riscal. The robust ‘Airenzo’ Tempranillo, vibrant Rueda Verdejo white and pale Rosado Rosé are also available. The free-flow wine brunch is available on weekends and public holidays from 12 to 3pm (with food items paid for separately).

Atap Bar
The first ever Halal mocktails-only bar

Finally, a watering hole for our Muslim friends! ATAP is a non-alcoholic rooftop bar specialising in local bespoke mocktails nestled in Arab Street. The family-friendly establishment boasts of amazing views and has an Instagram-worthy indoor area lit by warm colours and decorated with tropical-inspired touches.

Cereal Citizen
Something for the cereal lovers

While cereal bars like London's Cereal Killer cafe have taken off internationally, its success has somewhat not been replicated on our Singaporean shores. Cereal Citizen, the brain child of two local Instagram influencers Bong Qiu Qiu and Rachel, hopes to change that with the opening of their new cereal cafe. Its Instagrammable cereal-based dessert creations are certainly eye-catching and might be well-positioned to take off with its heartland location.
