If you’re looking to unwind during the weekday, head down to House at Dempsey for a glorious and delectable high tea treat.

There’s nothing quite as comforting as heading up to a delightful space nestled in the midst of lush greenery and indulging in a spot of tea with delightful high tea treats. For that, the one spot that immediately comes to our mind would have to be the cosy House at Dempsey Road.

While their Vintage High Tea menu was always a hit with patrons, they’ve decided to kick things up a bit with a new spread that includes a whole lot more punch with fresh herbs and vegetables.

Boasting over 30 new items on the menu that have been artfully created with varying herbs, diners can expect to send their taste buds on quite the journey at every seating. From the Curry Leaf Almond Brownie to the flavourpacked Sweet Potato Leaf Fried Rice, where everyone’s favourite Phad Thai is turned into a refreshing salad bursting with Thai basil, coriander and spring onion, and the Ginger Butterchicken with Mango Chutney, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choices as you fill your plate from the glorious buffet spread.

In addition to the brilliant array of savoury and sweet dishes, you can also head to the made-to-order corner where sandwiches are put together according to your request and even keep an ear out for the bell, which signals special creations from the kitchen that will be rolled during the high tea session.

So the next time you find yourself craving for something a little bit different or infused with the freshest of herbs like dill and basil, then be sure to pull up a seat or two within the comforting abode of House and let your foodie fantasies run wild.

House Hi-Tea is available every Thursday and Friday, from 3 – 5.30pm at SGD30+ per pax. House is located at 8D Dempsey Road.
