Blackwattle marks award-winning Australian chef Clayton Wells' first restaurant opening in Asia. Open for lunch and dinner since October, the restaurant-bar concept helmed by head chef Joeri Timmermans serves contemporary Australian-influenced three and five-course menus, along with a la carte options. The bold flavours and interesting, quality ingredients used in the dishes all reflect Clayton's global travels - like the Grilled Beef Short Rib (paired with a carrot and kelp puree and dill pickled cucumber), Fried Cheese Tapioca with Espelette Pepper and more.

PS. Cafe – New Outlet at Raffles City
Hot on the heels of its new outlet opening at One Fullerton last month, P.S. Cafe will be opening its doors to its newest and boldest space yet at Raffles City. Touted as a 'greenhouse in the sky', this outlet will be the 10th outlet for P.S. Gourmet, the group behind PS. Cafe and PS. Cafe Petit.

Their brand new space at Raffles City is an airy and expansive 3,300 sq. ft. restaurant, accented by large glass panel windows with industrial black arches, profuse greenery, and even a sprawling green wall that rises up from the center of the restaurant to the surrounding towering tress. An urban oasis and green sanctuary in the heart of the civic district? You bet. The menu will include PS. Cafe's signature dishes, with also a selection of exclusive new dishes unique to the outlet.

The Ottomani
If there is one place you absolutely need to make a date with this November, The Ottomani would be it. This intimate Middle Eastern restaurant slash supper club in Tanjong Pagar is truly atmospheric - an impeccably furnished venue complete with the sensual dim lighting and deluxe leather sofas that still feels genuine (rather than cheesy). The restaurant menu is seasonal, so expect changes in the dishes. The standout dish in this sensual restaurant is no doubt the Sticky Pork Belly, marinated with a rub of Turkish Coffee, Palm Sugar and Szechuan Pepper for 24 hours before being gently cooked over a wood-fired earth pit for yet another 24 hours. P.S. We're already making plans for a return visit.

Smoke & Mirrors – New Cocktail Menu
This November, destination bar Smoke & Mirrors launches its brand-new cocktail menu called The Playful Eye. Developed by Head Bartender Yugnes Susela and his team, the new menu features 10 progressive cocktails with artfully curated flavour profiles, presentation - even names.

His inspiration behind the new menu? "I've always been intrigued by how a chef would plate a cocktail if they were behind the bar. For a year, my team and I researched unique flavour profiles and methods used by chefs who push culinary (techniques) and boundaries," says Yugnes.

The key idea behind the new menu is to take cues from culinary techniques, flavour profiles and plating from cooking. Expect truly one-of-a-kind cocktail creations that engage all your senses and a new curated list of spirts like the Rutte's Celery Gin from the Netherlands and Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon, an award-winning Taiwanese single malt gin.

Adrift by David Myers – New Menu
Adrift by David Myers has released a new flavour-forward menu featuring scrumptious, creative dishes starring light bites, hearty mains and delicious desserts.

Highlights of the new menu include scrumptious savoury dishes like Spiced Beef Tartare (served with Korean gochujang chili and a nori roll), Kagoshima Wagyu Striploin on Coals (paired with spiced miso) and sweet terats like the Marinated Pineapple (topped with housemade lemongrass gelato and a light fragrant pepper cream).

Helmed by celebrated chef, David Myers (who also runs acclaimed restaurants in Tokyo and Dubai) and his new talented young team, Executive Chef Wayne Brown and Sous Chef Kamarl John, Adrift continues to flex its culinary prowess in its reinvention of Japanese flavours and ingredients with this newly revamped menu.

Fat Lulu’s – New Dessert Menu
Here's something for the sweet tooth: for the first time ever, Fat Lulu's - known for its Asian-style BBQ and desserts - is rolling a new menu specialising in just desserts. The new menu will feature 10 dessert creations which include re-imagined versions of their bestselling favourites and new dishes.

The newcomers include the Beetroot and Cheese, a mouthwatering beetroot and blueberry concoction topped with a delightful lemon cream cheese mousse and multigrain crumble and Melaka Boleh, a decadent creme brulee enriched with gula melaka and cream cheese ice cream. For nostalgic return to your favourite childhood sweet treats, there is also a Three Porn Stars which, in spite its rather provocative name, is an innocuous trio of milk chocolate, hazelnut and Ipoh white kopi popsicles, paired with a cloud of frozen passionfruit and prosecco foam.

The Pelican – New Sunday Champagne Brunch
Here's something to start your Sunday on a deliciously bubbly note: starting 12 November 2017, The Pelican will be launching their new Sunday Champagne Brunch (available every Sunday from 12PM to 4PM), featuring their bestselling a la carte menu dishes like the Classic Lobster Bisque and Woodfire Grilled Chilli Cheese Corn and more, complemented with free-flow Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royale Brut Champagne, Prosecco, house wines, beers and soft drinks. Their brunch prices start at SGD38 for children (aged between 9 to 12) and SGD98 for adults.
