Recipe: Oriental seaweed vinaigrette walnut salad

It’s time for lunch! And if you are in need of an easy-to-prepare appetizer, we have the seaweed vinaigrette walnut salad recipe for you.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Preparation time: 10 minutes
  • Cooking time: 30 minutes
  • Serves: 4 people

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 walnuts
  • 100g sea spaghetti (Rúanach seaweed)
  • 2 handfuls of lettuce
  • 2 c. tablespoons of peanut oil
  • 2 c. tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 c. tablespoons rice vinegar

1 c. tablespoons soy sauce

PREPARATION

1. Rehydrate seaweed. Boil a large amount of water, put in the seaweed and cook 20 minutes. Drain. Wash and drain the lettuce.

2. Rinse and dry the walnuts. Fry them in oil for 2 minutes on one side over high heat. Add the seaweed, then flip them over and let them brown for 2 minutes on the other side. Salt and pepper.

3. Pour all the ingredients for the vinaigrette into a bowl and emulsify. Divide the sea spaghetti amongst 4 bowls, add the fried walnuts and sprinkle over lettuce. Drizzle with vinaigrette. Serve immediately
