Recipe: How to make spring roll maki?

Make spring roll maki’s the right way and add a touch of gourmet to your kitchen!

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Preparation time: 45 minutes
  • Serves: 4 people

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 sheets of nori (dried seaweed)
  • 250g of lettuce
  • 250g of turnip
  • 200g of carrots
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 springs of mint
  • 4 tablespoons of peanut oil
  • Mesclun salad

PREPARATION 

1 Wash the salad, peel the turnip and carrots, then grate everything. Squeeze the lemon. Emulsify the oil and lemon juice.

2 Spread a sheet of nori on a wet bamboo mat, smooth side down, the wider side facing you. Using the mat, starting with the closest edge, gently roll the sheet of seaweed with grated vegetables without pressing too hard.

3 Press firmly when the mat is fully rolled, then unroll the mat and place the roll on a board, with a rubber seal underneath. With a sharp, wet knife, cut the roll in half diagonally.

4 Arrange on plates with dressing. Decorate with mint leaves and greens.
