THE PHYTOTHERAPY PRESCRIPTION

From the first signs of chronic exhaustion, take 5 to 10 ml of fluid extracts of the mixture ginseng or rhodiola in the morning to strengthen physical and mental resistance. To support the production of cortisol hormone, opt for blackcurrant or liquorice (capsule or decoction), especially if tension is low. And to improve sleep, take valerian (2 capsules before bedtime).

THE HOMEOPATHIC PRESCRIPTION

When you are overstressed, so much so that any reaction becomes impossible: take two granules of Gelsemium 9 HP three times a day.

TIP

Put on the menu a lot of oily fish (sardine, mackerel) and colza oil to increase your levels of omega-3 and mitigate the damaging effects of acute stress on the heart and the brain. Try to keep personal life apart from work, by dedicating time to pleasant activities (cinema, sport and so on).

THE ZEN ACTIVITY

The mindfulness meditation. Although it is derived from the Buddhist culture, it isn’t a religious practice. It is instead a cognitive therapy already proposed by approximately 200 hospitals in the United States to fight burn-outs, depression or chronic tiredness. Meditation enables you to train to take care of yourself, to be able to silence your negative thoughts and achieve a deep internal relaxation. It is not complicated, but to obtain a true result, it is better not to practise it alone at the beginning.
