Reflexology: The ideal foot massage to combat neck and back pains

We share our advice on how to soothe a sore neck or back through reflexology.

Massage the big toe until the heel with the surface of the thumb. Repeat this step three times, then massage along the length of the “spine” (located on the inner edge of each foot – the curved line follows the arch of the big toe to the heel). To relieve the tension in the upper back and neck, we start again on the big toe, massaging the base and joints using the “caterpillar walk” technique (support the back of the foot with the other fingers of the same hand you are using to massage). Repeat this step with each toe.
