We present our advice on how to fight against stress, using reflexology.

Start by lightly rubbing each foot for a minute, using both hands to massage firmly and smoothly, starting on the back of the foot, to the base of the toes, then back to the ankles. Then, with both thumbs, gently rub the arch of the foot. Slowly and thoroughly, massage the reflex area of the solar plexus (located in the centre of the foot, on the upper part where the bone starts to jut out) back and forth for five minutes.

Then, whilst holding your heel in your free hand, massage each toe, starting from the base, using your thumb, middle and forefinger as a “pincer”, slowly applying deep pressure towards the tip. Then, massage the heels to complete your exercise in eliminating tension – hold on to the heel with one hand, and with your thumb, massage (using the “caterpillar walk” technique, with a press-and-push motion) with the flat of the thumb – not just with the tip – from bottom to top, from top to bottom, then right to left and vice versa. Complete with another quick rub.
