Morphopsychology is official – the design and texture of your lips indisputably reflect your emotional profile. A big mouth expresses indulgence. And if the lips are fleshy, this is a sign of extroversion. A small mouth, conversely, would mark a tendency to introversion, and thin lips shyness.

But good news – thanks to cosmetics, everything is concealable. In their bestseller, “Why do men scratch the ear and women shift their alliances?” (First Editions), Australian coaches Allan and Barbara Pease report a study demonstrating the power-challenge of lipstick on the masculine gentleman.

Provided they are rosy and shiny, any lips become irresistible. And this strong signal has existed since the Antiquity. Thus, some argue that in Pharaoic Egypt, rouging lips allowed women to represent, on their face, their labia, allegedly being proportional to the thickness of the mouth… what, then, if they did a little editing?
