Beauty Hack: Use eye cream on your lips for surprising results

Every beauty product seems to have a dual secret power. Lipsticks can be used as blush, or even eyeliner nowadays. Concealer can be used to contour cheekbones and the nose. Beauty hacks like this transform a single product into one with many more uses, making it more value for money.

Use eye cream on your lips to keep them soft & moisturised
Sounds weird? Yes, but it totally works. The skin around your eye area is exceptionally delicate, just like the skin on your lips. Those two areas are typically where we would see wrinkles and fine lines forming first. Since eye creams are used around the eye area, they are usually tested for sensitivity (in case it gets into the eyes), which makes it very, very safe for use anywhere else.
Moreover, your lips don’t have sebaceous glands that keep the rest of your face supple and moisturised. Since eye creams are formulated to deeply hydrate the skin around your eyes and to diminish fine lines, it will also provide your pout with a lot of moisture, leaving your lips kissably soft. Eye creams also dry more quickly, so you can look forward to more a more supple pout without having to fear getting flyaway hair stuck on your glossy lip treatment. So the next time you decide to use eye cream, you don’t have to overdo it on your lips: simply just use whatever’s left over on your fingers on your lips to let it do its job.
