Kepong Metopolitan Park
If you're travelling on the road to Selayang via Selangor-Kepong Highway, you are bound to see a number of kites flying in the sky. These colourful kites light up the sky by families who are visiting the Kepong Metropolitan Park as well as kite-flying enthusiasts who have made the park home to kite-flying ever since it was made to be a public facility. Join the fun by getting involved with some activities with the kids or opt to have a quiet picnic by the beautiful lake. The choice is yours!

Titiwangsa Lake Garden
One of the most popular recreational parks in KL – the Titiwangsa Lake Garden is well developed and filled with plenty of amenities, including tennis courts, a playground for kids, jogging tracks and exercise areas. They also have a lake in the park which is arguably the main attraction, hosting several water sports activities such as aqua biking as well. Picnic goers can relax by the lake, or if you're feeling adventurous, the whole family could participate in a whole load of sports activities while bonding under the sun!

Taman Lembah Kiara
This recreational park, a nearby spot for residents living nearby, is a joggers' favourite place to be at. A scenic man-made lake runs parallel along the well-paved jogging path and Bukit Kiara is situated near the area. Monkeys from the forest are free to roam the parks. While it is safe to have a picnic under the shade and settle down there for a few hours, it is advisable to not pay attention to the monkeys or feed them for they might get a little mischievous.

Desa Parkcity
Desa Parkcity is home to a large lake and a well-paved jogging track around it. Not only does this lake bring a certain sense of tranquility to joggers and exercise-goers, it is also a common ground for dog lovers to bring their dogs to as well. Many would head on down for a slow evening walk, picnics and kite flying on the large greenery near the lake. Apart from that, if you get bored of relaxing, you can also catch up on some retail therapy at the shops located near the park too.
