Not just the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, Windsor Castle is also The Queen’s favourite weekend home. 600 guests will join the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel, which is a considerably smaller group compared to the entourage of 2000 guests that attended The Queen’s wedding back in 1947.

Meghan’s gown is suspected to be designed by Ralph & Russo
With the designer of Meghan’s wedding gown being kept a secret, reporters have speculated that London-based couture house, Ralph & Russo, will be designing the gown. The gown will definitely not disappoint, with rumours of hand embroidered and beaded motifs draping through the gown.

The wedding cake will be a lemon and elderflower flavour
Traditionally, fruitcake must always be served at a royal wedding. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have added a second cake after choosing a lemon and elderflower cake by pastry chef Claire Ptak. The cake is said to be decorated with floral designs for the perfect spring wedding.

After lots of speculation about who will be Meghan Markle’s right-hand woman, it has been decided that she will not be having a maid of honour. With her close group of friends, Meghan has refused to have a maid of honour as she doesn’t want to choose one over another.

This selfless couple has asked their guests for charity donations instead of traditional wedding gifts. Together, the couple has chosen 7 organisations that their guests can donate to ranging from the Children’s HIV Association to The Wilderness Foundation.

Queen Elizabeth will be gifting the couple a house
Even though the couple has requested for charity donations instead of traditional wedding gifts, The Queen will not comply but instead, Her Majesty is speculated to be gifting the couple an entire house. With the newlywed couple occupying York Cottage, they will be neighbours to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
