KLCC Park
Of course, we couldn't miss out on this iconic landscape of KL. If you're a true blue Malaysian with a lot of national pride, you'd probably want to consider holding your pre-wedding photoshoot against the backdrop of the loveliest greenery and the Petronas Towers. This is a spot that captures the fusion of the modern skyline and the beauty of nature in one convenient location.

Flamingo Hotel
Situated next to a gorgeous lake, this is one place you can hold a photoshoot and also say "I do". After settling your photoshoot in the daytime, you might want to hang on a bit longer for a whole different ambience at night to create the most magical photos by the lake.

Perdana Botanical Garden
Formerly known as Lake Gardens, KL's first large-scale recreational park is situated right in the midst of the city, and serves as a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle. Here is where you'll find beautiful backdrops of flora and fauna, and the occasional waterfall, to hold that perfect photoshoot you've always wanted.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building
The architecture of this place, accompanied by the palm trees that decorate its facade, acts as an excellent blend of Moorish design and tropical feels in this equatorial country. The colonial look of the building makes for very pretty photos, and is probably what makes this such an ideal location for a pre-wedding photoshoot.

Old KL Railway Station
Although this railway station has stopped all services for two decades to make way for the newer KL Sentral station, the east-meets-west architecture remains a huge draw to locals and tourists alike. Just opposite lies the old railway administration building, which emits a similar colonial feel, and works as well as a place to have a photoshoot.

Pasar Seni Graffiti Walls
If you're into graffiti and you don't mind the smell, there are some amazing works of art for your viewing and phototaking pleasure over here. There are two whole stretches of graffiti on both banks of the canal, so you probably won't get bored with your backdrop. If you want a little change of scenery after this, simply head over to the nearby Petaling Street from some funky street photography shots.

Kepong Metropolitan Park
This park, consisting of many attractions like a remote control car track and aquatic activities, is most famous for the kite-flying activities that take place here very frequently. The small pier that you see makes for an excellent platform to take your pre-wedding photos, especially in the evening when the sun is about to set and when kites are aplenty - the perfect scenery to end off your day.

As little girls, we’ve probably all dreamed of the magical backdrop to hold our wedding ceremony, be it the grand ballroom of our favourite hotel or the pristine sands of a gorgeous beach. Nowadays, the dilemma lies not in the location of the wedding itself, but in deciding where to hold the pre-wedding photoshoot. The photoshoot is equally as important because you will look back on the moment with your spouse and reminisce the fun times you had trying to capture the perfect pose.
