We've all had that occasional bad hair day, but a bad hairdo worn to a major event is one you're going to want to steer clear of.

Celebrities are constantly under the scrutiny of the public eye, so it must be difficult for them to let their hair loose (perhaps literally) without being harshly criticised. On the red carpet, especially, it's imperative to don an immaculate appearance, or they'll be judged and placed into the black book of fashion forever. On the bright side, their fashion faux pas make for very good entertainment for us, and more examples of mistakes we should avoid.

From purely bad haircuts to terrible choices of hair dye, our list of worst celebrity hairdos will likely make you cringe at these hair catastrophes, and be grateful you're not one of them. As a saving grace, we do have to recognise that these celebrities are human after all, so we're going to need to cut them some slack.
