Celebrate Earth Day with these environmentally friendly and socially responsible beauty products.
Why use products loaded with unpronounceable ingredients? It just means it’s loaded with chemicals that can be harmful to your skin and health in the long run.
Eco-friendly companies make their products with as little impact on the environment as possible. They also do not test their products on animals and some ‘certified vegan’ products even avoid using animal by-products. In addition, they usually contain natural scents from the botanicals used instead of artificial perfumes that can cause allergic reactions in some people.
Made with natural ingredients, green products are also much safer to use, making them a great option for people with sensitive skin or young children.
While they can be a little more expensive than the generic brands, that’s because processing and using only natural ingredients can cost more than chemically made ones. So why not create more demand for these products to increase supply (and reduce the price point)?
