Look like you’ve had eight hours of sleep these effortless glow-inducing products.

There is a good reason why we find the dewy skinned look so irresistible. Not only does it look fresh and feminine, plumped skin is a sign of youth and health. It is rumoured that to achieve a youthful glow, Marilyn Monroe primed her skin with a thick layer of Vaseline before putting on her makeup (not something we would recommend).

The lit-from-within look is especially covetable when you wake up with dull and exhausted skin. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with the time to faff about with shimmer powder and a brush in the morning.

Thankfully for busy girls everywhere, brands have managed to bottle light that they can smear on in seconds flat, making it look like you’ve had eight hours of sleep.

The trick is to get products that will inject radiance into your skin, not make it sparkle like a disco ball. We love M.A.C’s Strobe Cream for its fine iridescent formula. While Strobe Cream has achieved cult status as a highlighter, what you might not know is that is actually a moisturiser packed with potent ingredients like green tea and jojoba oil.

For something with more coverage, try a foundation like YSL’s Le Teint Touche Eclat. Like the famous gold clickable pen, YSL managed to bottle light into this base. Even without an illuminating primer, this lightweight foundation will give you an enviable and flawless radiant glow.

From primers to foundations, there is an illuminising product out there that will make you glow. We round up ten of our favourite illuminisers that will make your skin look glowy and energised within minutes.
