go to THE BEACH: SPEND YOUR TIME IN A RELAXING WAY

Settled on your towel, take advantage of these ideal surroundings to do something good to your body, by adopting some very simple activities. We swear you will not need (almost) any effort to make! Between two sessions of sunbathing, get refreshed and plunge with your hands to the bottom of the water to collect a handful of wet sand. Massage your body delicately by using the sand as an exfoliating scrub, then rinse yourself in the sea water, for approximately 15 minutes, to enable your skin to absorb the elements naturally present in the salt water. The strong concentration of mineral salts and the presence of oligo-elements have a natural exfoliating effect with healing, anti-stress and draining properties (they stimulate the blood circulation). So do not hesitate to walk in the water to boost your blood circulation and tone up your legs.

BREATH FRESH AIR in THE MOUNTAINs: REVITALIZE YOURSELF

Ah, the mountains! Good bye noise, pollution, stress… and following these steps you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Oxygenate yourself: practise a physical outdoor activity because any exercise at high altitude boosts oxygenation. Walking or, better, Scandinavian walking (with sticks) exercises all the body without effort and allows you to admire the landscape. Combining pleasure and toning is so simple! Swim in waterfalls or rivers; cold water has a toning action on the body. Nothing like your endless lengths on a Wednesday in the municipal swimming pool. Prepare your ointments: during your hikes, collect flowers of arnica (similar to marguerites, completely yellow) and keep them in some alcohol. Apply this solution to your bruises, insect bites and muscular pains to remove them immediately! Also eat wild blueberries for their toning properties and their anti-fatigue effect.

BREAK IN TOWN: CREATE your own BEAUTY TREATMENTS

Grandma’s recipes or beauty tips are passed down from mother to daughter, so what if we take some time to make “our” remedies? Playful, practical, economic and effective, home-made beauty treatments are not time-consuming. Knot your apron, put on your chef’s hat (or your bathrobe) and be transformed into a beauty masterchef. Who knows, you could invent a miracle cure that you will later on pass down to your grandchildren! Not sure where to start? Here are some ideas to help!
