Brow woes: 4 ways to fix over tweezed brows with ease
Now that fuller brows are big again, here are 4 ways to regrow your eyebrows. After all, you should be adopting the #gothickorgohome mantra for the feature that best frames your face.
Thick brows are all the rage these days. With hashtags such as #eyebrowgoals flooding our social media news feed, maintaining the look of our brows is essential. However what if you fall in the category of many of us who over tweezed our brows back in the day? If you went through the skinny eyebrow phase and are finding it difficult to regrow your over-plucked brows, here are 4 methods to adopt.
TIP #1: TOSS THE TWEEZERS FOR THE TIME BEING
First and foremost, it is important to understand that the process of regrowing your brows isn’t going to be the most easiest. You’ll have to deal with uneven brows for at least a month or two. This period of rest allows your hair follicles to recover. Halt all threading, waxing and plucking for the time being and you’ll see results over time.
TIP #2: NOURISH YOUR BROWS
To speed up the process of regrowth, try adding more vitamin-rich food items to your diet. This can easily be done by increasing your intake of foods like carrots, green leafy vegetables and even brown rice. If you are into supplements, choose products rich in Vitamin A, B6, C, E and Biotin. Over a span of 3-4 weeks, you’ll see an increase in healthy hair growth.
TIP#3: SHAPE YOUR BROWS
Now ladies, not everyone of us would be able to rock the “Cara Delevingne brow look”. It is not about rocking the thickness but balancing the look of your brows with the rest of you face. If your face shape is on the angular side, opt for a soft brow look. The brow shape you choose should follow your bone structure.
TIP #4: MASSAGE YOUR BROWS DAILY
This minute long routine will make a difference over time. Start off by rubbing a small amount of olive or coconut oil between your palms. Using an eyebrow spoolie, dip it into the oil and massage it into the direction of hair growth. Once done lightly apply tapping motions on your brows and repeat this step daily, preferably during your night routine. Doing so will help to strengthen your hair follicles and increase the rate of re growth.
Try the above tricks to get your cejas back in shape.
