Blake Lively stuns not just with her fashion choices – but also her hair at the red carpet on the opening day of the 67th Cannes Film Festival. Here’s how to copy her gorgeous braided hairstyle…
After dazzling everyone at the MET Gala 2014 alongside her husband Ryan Reynolds, the beautiful Gossip Girl and L’Oréal Paris muse has yet again caused a sensation this Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival 2014.
Wearing a gorgeous Gucci dress, the actress had a lovely and ultra stylish braid fit for a modern fashion icon like herself.
If you loved it as much as we did, here are our tips to get this pretty high braid look at home:
– On straightened hair , spray a texturizing spray or lacquer.
– Make a high ponytail and raise it on the top of the head by pinning well and using a brush.
– Backcomb a strand of hair and wrap it around the elastic band to hide it.
– Make a loose braid while keeping it flexible.
– Once the braid is complete, create a ‘messy’ effect by pulling out a few strands here and there.
– Fix your hair by applying gel on the sides and top of the head and lacquer on the braid.
– To complete your star look to perfection – create some smokey eyes like Blake.
