This may just be the best beauty launch of the season.

It genuinely seems that Rihanna can do no wrong. Hot on the heels of her wildly successful Fenty x Puma collaboration, the sultry Caribbean beauty has been teasing makeup enthusiasts around the world with snippets into her new highly-anticipated Fenty Beauty collection.

We might be stating the obvious, but given that she consistently blows us away with her bold red carpet looks, proving she’s not one to shy away from experimenting with makeup, we’re wildly excited about the new line.

Officially launching this week on 8 September 2017 in Sephora, here’s what you can expect from the collection:

1. A beauty collection for women of all ethnicity.

It comes as no surprise that Rihanna consciously create a diverse beauty line that is representative of women of all ethnicity. The slogan for the Fenty Beauty line reads, “Beauty for All”.

True to its slogan, the line’s first teaser video features stunning models of various ethnicity (the likes of Duckie Thot, Slick Woods and Halima Aden) taking the streets of New York working their Fenty Beauty face. Diversity and representation in brands is always a plus in our books – so good on you, Rihanna!

2. There will apparently be a (whooping) 40 foundation shades.

Yes, you read that right – 40. She definitely was not kidding when she meant “beauty for all”. No more frustrating inaccurate colour matches, being ‘in between’ foundation shades or not being able to find a shade that works for your undertone.

3. Iridescent ‘Killawatt’ highlighters and holographic lippies .

Rihanna is a glowing, bronze vision at every awards season – which is why we’re having high hopes for her highlight shades she aptly calls ‘Killawatt’. In breathtaking, glistening shades like “Trophy Wife” and “Moscow Mules” these are the glow kits we definitely want to… shine bright like a diamond?

The first lip product drop we can confirm? A holographic lip product used backstage at the Fenty x Puma spring 2017 runway show. We’re also suspecting there might a few great matte lipstick options in the mix – in particular, that classic fire-engine red Rihanna has now become synonymous with.

We’re thinking that this might just be the best beauty launch of the season. (Our only gripe is why a beauty line by everyone’s red carpet darling didn’t come sooner).
