Colour Me Bronze: Here's why you should give 3D tanning a go

Contouring just got easier.
Tanning has long been a popular method for many ladies to add a fresh coat of colour to their skin, giving off the illusion of a sun-kissed look. What was earlier done in salons has now paved the way for a DIY method which can be easily purchased off the shelf. Giving yourself a tan at home has never been easier. However, this basic trend has now received an upgrade with the introduction of 3D tanning.
3D tanning essentially borrows its concept from contouring and highlighting. Making use of different tanning shades, you will have to first use a self tanner to coat your face. This helps to create an even base. Once the colour has developed, you will go in with a bronzing gel which will be applied on portions of your face where you wish to recede light such as your jaw line, sides of forehead, down the bridge of your nose etc.
This can be further enhanced by using a dry oil on points which you wish to highlight. Once the bronzing gel and dry oil has dried, you are left with a beautiful glow which lasts for over a week.
This means that you can store your bronzers, highlighters and brushes away because the contour and highlight lines will be there every morning for the next 7 days. Depending on the shades chosen, you will be able to create anything from a soft to harsh contour. This semi permeant trend can be done on all parts of your face from the eyebrows to lips. That's right, even your lips can be shaded to create definition.
Beauty experts are touting this as the next big beauty trend and we anticipate this trend making its way to Asia real soon. Given a chance, will you jump onto the bandwagon and give 3D tanning a go?
After all, who doesn't love a sun-kissed glow?
