Coach has a new face – and it’s none other than Japan’s fashion it-girl of the moment, Kiko Mizuhara.

Coach has a new face: and it’s none other than Japanese it-girl Kiko Mizuhara.

The design house, best known for its modern luxury leather goods, announced its partnership with the 27-year-old model and actress with the launch of a limited edition bag designed by other than Kiko herself.

A brief swipe through the model’s Instagram page will have you know that Kiko’s definitely one to colour out of the lines when it comes to fashion – and her bag design reflects that. The limited edition Signature Charlie bag is created by Kiko using Coach Create and crafted by Coach. Inspired by outer space, her design combines leather tea roses and semi-precious stones around a moon souvenir pin “to evoke the feeling of space”.

Unfortunately for Kiko fans across the globe, the Kiko edition of the Charlie Carryall in Signature is only available in select Coach stores in Japan for a limited period. However, Coach has hinted that at more future collaborations on the pipeline with the model, which include a special project with Coach’s Creative Director Stuart Vevers,

“I am so excited to join the Coach family,” she shares. “I love the cool, optimistic brand and cannot wait for my fans to connect with Coach in a more intimate way and partnership.”

Needless to say, it’s been a busy year for Mizuhara, who is also the newly-named ambassador for Dior Beauty  – and the first Asian ambassador too, at that. Watch this space for more updates!
