It’s time to be in the know of the top Asian faces representing our side of the world over at fashion weeks.
Move over Li Wen and Tao Okamoto – there’s a new wave of Asian models taking over the catwalks at fashion weeks around the world.
The relationship between fashion and the Orient is one that’s long-standing, with designers coming to Japanese and Chinese traditions every now and then to influence the inspirations for their collections. Asian models have also served as muses to many creative directors, so to give ode to these Eastern faces is nothing new.
But here we shed some light on the up-and-coming Asian models that have been recently taking the runways by storm in the past seasons. They’re source of our envy thanks to their long gams and tall figures, but we relate with them so much in terms of compatibility of beauty looks. Say a tough all-over smokey eye is the look for Alexander Wang this season and we want to recreate it – just look to these girls for inspiration on how to work it for our Asian features.
